Looking to collaborate, create, and continue..
I want to play. I want to get my hands dirty. Get at me.
Hi there. My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Lizzie. I am a choreographer, performer, teacher and human in New York City.
I'm inspired by experimentation, exploration, and evocative work. I aim to tell stories. I want to break the boundary between audience and performer through immersion, and narrative thoughtfulness.
I am the Co-Founder and Artistic Director for the immersive dance-theater company ToUch Performance Art, with which I also perform. Through ToUch I have choreographed fully produced works such as the hit-show AcousticaElectronica, and Searching for Signal, both of which were developed during my time spent as Artist in Residence at the American Repertory Theatre.
Beyond ToUch, I have been lucky enough to choreograph alongside many kickass people and places. To name a few:
‘Camelot’ directed by James Benjamin Rodgers, the Mac-Haydn Theatre
‘Modern Atlas’ commissioned by the Gypsy West, ART’s OBERON
‘You do not look’ directed by Jenny Snyder, Signature Theatre, Columbia University
Luciano Berio ‘Sequenza IXa” created as adjunct faculty at the Manhattan School of Music
Finally, I continue to seek engagement and collaboration in performance outside of ToUch. Recently, I've worked with Whisperlodge, BitterSuite UK at BAM, Regina Nejman Dance and Sinking Ship Productions.
